地震仪设置和控制面板位于防爆外壳的盖子下面：
“USB”端口-用于通过USB接口将地震仪连接到PC，以便进一步配置；
“SD”端口-用于通过USB接口将注册信号数据从地震仪非易失性存储器传输到PC；
“充电”端口-用于连接电池充电器。
地震仪的“POWER”键用于启动/停止数据记录过程，以及将地震仪连接到PC进行配置。
地震仪非常适合在控制区域临时安装（可以在地面和固体表面安装——钢、混凝土等）。
如果安装在固体表面上，则需要使用螺钉连接和安装孔（位于地震仪底部）将设备固定在测量区域。如果安装在地面上，则必须使用安装销（先前固定在地震仪安装点上）。
在研究区安装地震仪时，必须按方位（通常使用向北的方向）对准测量轴“X”。测轴方向显示在地震仪外壳表面
